Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in safety relief valve solutions, is seeking a Valve Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Valve Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing and quality assurance department supporting production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Valve Technician

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: $18-$19/hr

Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Assemble valves according to established procedures.
• Set up and operate specialized test equipment for high-pressure valve products.
• Conduct functional testing and accurately record results.
• Compare test results to specifications and make necessary adjustments to meet order requirements.
• Support engineering with valve and subcomponent testing, including building and testing prototypes.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or testing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and retrieval.
• Strong attention to detail and procedural compliance.
